Charcuterie 101
Do you ever wish you could throw together a Pinterest worthy charcuterie board for your guests? Well, you can.
You can do it under $25 - and the key is making your board feel full and and have volume.
Step 1: Add Carbs - Bread, Crackers
Step 2: Add meats - Salami, Prosciutto, or any meats of your choosing! Place these on the board so they are evenly spaced.
Pro tip - ‘fluff’ your meat instead of stacking it neatly. This creates volume on the board!
Step 3: Add cheeses - You will want to combine a mixture of soft cheese and firm cheese.
Pro Tip - Slice half of the block of cheese and leave the remaining half un cut. This creates a very aesthetically pleasing texture on the board!
Step 4: Add fruits or veggies - berries, apples, grapes, carrots, cucumbers, cauliflower, baby tomatoes and so many more options!
Pro Tip - Think of things that taste good together and organize the board like that.
For example - Raspberries go well with goat cheese and apples go well with Brie.
Step 5: Add fillers - This is the part where we fill in the gaps on the board. Use ramekins or small bowls to take up space and fill with dips, pickles, nuts, snack mix, etc.
