Creamy Garlic Shrimp Pasta
Another day, another recipe! I shared this on my Instagram stories a few weeks ago and you guys went crazy for it! So, I thought I would share the official recipe with you. This meal takes about 15 minutes! Great for nights you need a quick and delicious meal.
We are a pasta family. Any shape, size or type of pasta and we are happy! This recipe has become a favorite lately. Shrimp + creamy sauce + thick pasta noodles. Yum!
Have dinner ready in 15 minutes. Yes please.
This recipe calls for garlic herb butter. If you can’t find it at the store, scroll to the bottom of this post and I shared how to make your own!
INGREDIENTS
Makes 2 Servings
4 tbs garlic herb butter (My favorite is from Trader Joes!)
1 cup heavy cream
Juice of half a lemon
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
2 handfuls of frozen peeled and deveined shrimp (can also use fresh!)
1 package of pappardelle noodles
Salt and pepper to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
Boil water for pasta.
In a pan, add in the garlic herb butter + shrimp.
Cook shrimp for about 2 minutes per side, or until pink in color.
Remove shrimp and leave butter in the pan. I will usually place the shrimp on a plate.
Turn burner to medium heat, and add in heavy cream, lemon juice and parmesan cheese.
Stir until sauce becomes creamy and cheese is fully incorporated.
Add salt and pepper to taste, and turn heat to low.
When pasta is finished, take noodles directly out of water and put into sauce. Never ever rinse pasta!
Toss pasta with sauce and top with cooked shrimp.
Serve with garlic bread and a side salad. Enjoy!
