A Cozy Bed From The Company Store
I always tell my friends that my biggest tip on making a cozy bed is to layer! When I work on bedrooms, I think it is most important to create a serene environment that you just want to wrap yourself up in.
For this bedding look, I focused on neutral tones with lots of texture. I put this insert into the gorgeous, Legends Hotel™ Relaxed Linen Duvet Cover. This duvet cover is such high quality linen and soft to the touch. It will also get softer and more relaxed with each wash! Linen bedding can have a high price tag, but this duvet in a King size is under $200!
For the next layer, I added in the absolutely stunning Legends Luxury™ Hollins Cotton Coverlet. This coverlet is one of my favorite bedding pieces I have ever owned. Although I love my neutrals, I wanted to bring in a pop of color to the bed. I layered in the Large Basketweave Blanket in the color ‘sea blue’. The color makes such a statement, yet is muted and really completes the whole look. I used a Queen sized blanket, and laid it on the bed in a relaxed way. By styling a throw or an oversized blanket in a draped/relaxed way, you create a more inviting and cozy bed.
To finish off the look, I added a few amazing King sized shams. For a soft basic, you cannot go wrong with the Legends Hotel™ Supima® Cotton Wrinkle-Free Sateen Sham. I have these in ‘light gray’ and it is such a soft tone that goes with everything. In my bedding formula, I always use 4 King sized pillows for a King bed. So, to finish it off I added in two of the Pelham Organic Cotton Shams which add another beautiful, soft texture.
